Here's How I Made Content
Work for These Businesses

I onboarded with Sacha Cosmetics in November 2022 and found that their socials were mainly aimed at product and sales, not much human connection/brand engagement.

 

To increase brand engagement, I instantly incorporated a few content strategies to increase audience engagement, keep brand relevance, and lead generation.

Strategic collaborations

 

Before the launch of Sacha App discounts for the month of May. 

​

As J&K Signature Styles has a target market that is highly similar to Sacha's, I have carefully teamed up with them with the aim of doing a joint collaboration on our platforms. 

​

By working collaboratively with them, we could get an increase in momentum on our social media pages before our sale. 

​

We took advantage of the exposure the giveaway provided as we both launched our Mother's Day sales shortly after, which would have been significant Q2 promotions for both companies.

Content Engagement

This post is an example of how the content being posted by a company's social media page can directly increase sales. â€‹

​

As we had just restocked one of Sacha's most popular items, I created an engagement post that would be able to get mainly comments, tags, and shares.

​

Because of the high number of comments and reshares, the Instagram algorithm favors this post and then promotes it to the feed, as well as Instagram's dashboard. 

​

Sales for our Lip Velvets have also increased during this time period.

The Business Of Carnival - Launch of "Brand Protection and Influencer Marketing 101" Online Academy

The Business of Carnival is a niche industry in Trinidad and Tobago and by extension the Caribbean. â€‹It's a first of its kind that aims at looking at the business aspect of Carnival.


The CEO, Carla Parris, recently debuted her series on Roku in which she conducts interviews with a variety of well-known soca musicians, including Nailah Blackman, Kes Dieffenthaller, DJ Puffy, and many others, to learn about their musical plans and to remind them of the importance of intellectual property while also posing a number of provocative questions.

For this project, we launched a masterclass on "Brand Protection and Influencer Marketing 101" where she goes into detail about the legal aspects of influencer marketing as well as how to protect your brand when marketing using images, sounds, and much more. 

​

Whilst working with TBOC, I was tasked with the following for the set of this launch:

​

1. Create a content strategy for the pre-launch, launch as well as post-launch of her online masterclass. 

​

2. Create momentum on social media presence. 

​

3. The existing website design, content as well as visual layout. 

I worked closely with the various teams to plan out the visuals and content needed for this campaign, and to create a launch strategy. I worked on content distribution, creating copy for all content and website platforms.
